STIWA CEOs Peter and Raphael Sticht take a look back at a successful business year: The family-run company with its headquarters in Attnang-Puchheim, Austria achieved a turnover of EUR 255 million for the last financial year (July 1, 2017–June 30, 2018). This constitutes an increase of 23 percent compared to the previous annual turnover of EUR 207 million. The number of employees has also reached a record high at 1,810 (accurate on June 30, 2018). Ninety-five percent of employees work in Upper Austria. The export rate stands at more than 70 percent.

The STIWA Group is continuing to pursue its growth strategy and is expanding its Gampern site with a production hall for the new Machining division. “We are investing 22 million euros in this development and a total of 150 million euros in our sites over the next three years. We want to create over 350 extra jobs in the region by 2020,” say Peter and Raphael Sticht, CEOs of STIWA Holding GmbH. In the financial year ending 2016/2017, Group turnover stood at 206 million euros (+17 percent on 2015/16) generated by a workforce of 1,542 people*.

The STIWA Group continues its growth strategy by adding an assembly hall and an office building to its headquarters in Attnang-Puchheim. “Over the next two years we’ll invest 24 million euros in the expansion, thus creating some 100 jobs for highly qualified employees”, said Peter and Raphael Sticht, CEOs of STIWA Holding GmbH. In the past financial year 2015/16 the group of enterprises with its 1,360 employees achieved an operating performance of 185.0 million euros (+ 15.8 percent compared to the previous year).

As a survey of the Upper Austrian government showed 71.2% of all trips are made by motorized transport in Vöcklabruck. To counter this situation the regional management started a project for sustainable mobility — with STIWA as partners.
