Strategic and operative developments in all business areas of the STIWA Group – Wolfram Schrittesser hands over the management of STIWA Automation GmbH to Michael Fuchshuber as of January 1, 2021 – the generational change is continued
The Upper Austrian automation specialist STIWA based in Attnang-Puchheim is undergoing a transformation process on several levels. Currently, all business units are working on strategic and operational developments: In the future, automation — and thus the core business of the STIWA Group — will be positioned even more broadly by expanding the product portfolio. STIWA Advanced Products has already successfully repositioned itself, focusing on new technologies and products. We are also sharpening our profile in the Software business segment “The changes in the market are clearly noticeable for all companies. We meet these changes with constant innovation and are convinced that we will reach our growth targets with these new directions”, says STIWA Holding CEO Peter Sticht.
Fuchshuber follows Schrittesser — generation change will be continued
In this context there is also a change in the management of STIWA Automation GmbH. After Wolfram Schrittesser resigned as managing director of STIWA Automation GmbH and STIWA International GmbH in mutual agreement and interest, the shareholders’ meeting last week appointed the 44-year-old DI (FH) Michael Fuchshuber as his successor at STIWA Automation GmbH. Fuchshuber joined the company in 1999. The graduate of the University of Applied Sciences in Wels (Upper Austria) was initially employed in the field of technology integration. In 2012 he moved to the purchasing department, which he took over as head in 2014. “I am delighted that in Michael Fuchshuber we have been able to win an experienced and successful manager for this position and wish him every success in his new role. With this move, we are consistently continuing the generation change in STIWA Automation. In order to ensure a smooth hand-over, Wolfram Schrittesser will continue to serve as managing director until the end of the year.
Many thanks to Wolfram Schrittesser for his 30 years of successful work at STIWA
Under the management of Wolfram Schrittesser, STIWA Automation GmbH has developed into one of the most successful mechanical engineering companies in Europe. On behalf of the Sticht family, the supervisory and foundation board as well as the employees I would like to thank him very much for his more than 30 years of work at STIWA and wish him all the best for his further professional career.
