NEW MOBILITY

High-tech processes for
greater safety in the car

BRAKE PEDAL SENSOR

Brake pedal sensors are manufactured in this fully automatic STIWA machine. These are used in electro-mechanical brake boosters in motor vehicles.

The housing, pin, plug and cover components are inserted via four linear feeders, two decoilers and a special feeder. The sensors are mounted, tested and labeled in technically complex process stations. The finished product parts are delivered via blisters on a buffer surface, which are removed manually by the operator.

ESD-SAFE HANDLING

STIWA ensures ideal conditions in production to avoid electrostatic charges of sensitive components such as circuit boards.

KEY PROCESS PUNCHING

Sensor pins are uncoiled, separated, bent and punched. Force-displacement monitoring is carried out in the plug or sensor housing.

HIGH-TECH IN A SMALL SPACE

In this machine, mainly complex technology stations, combined with standardized assembly processes, can be found in a very small space.
