Great success at the WKOÖ Apprentice Award 2023:
1st place in electrical engineering and construction as well as the special prize "Woman in Technology" go to STIWA apprentices

At the Apprentice Award of the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce, STIWA apprentices were once again unbeatable this year: Lara Sulzberger took first place in the electrical engineering category, Nathalie Seidl decided the construction category in her favor and received the coveted special prize "Girl in Technology".

They were invited to the award ceremony - like all other STIWA apprentices with a grade of 1 - at the annual awards ceremony on June 13, 2023 at the Sandburg in Linz. They were accompanied by STIWA-Holding Managing Director Peter Sticht and STIWA Training Manager Thomas Bartl, among others.

"We would like to congratulate all our apprentices for their outstanding achievements. We are proud of them and their achievements, not only at the apprentice competition, but throughout the year in our company. Congratulations to Lara and Nathalie - they can rightly be very pleased with their award," congratulate the Sticht family, training manager Thomas Bartl and the entire team of instructors.

Modern machinery in the company's own training center

With an apprentice quota of ten percent, the multiple award-winning STIWA Group is one of the largest industrial trainers in Upper Austria. This year, more than 60 new apprentices will be taken on, and a total of around 200 young people are undergoing training at STIWA in ten professional groups. "As a leading international company in the fields of automation, production as well as software, STIWA trains its apprentices to the highest standards. Equipped with state-of-the-art training machines, all apprentices receive high-tech training with the best career opportunities at the company's own training center at our site in Attnang-Puchheim," says Bartl.

10 apprenticeships to choose from

STIWA currently offers apprenticeships in 10 professions - from mechatronics technician to design engineer to application developer. "In addition, we also offer the "Dual Academy" in the field of application development coding for high school graduates," Bartl informs.
