Mastering the Full Process: STIWA showcases integrated solutions for tomorrow's battery production

From June 9–11, 2026, the STIWA Group will present its state-of-the-art solutions for battery cell manufacturing at The Battery Show Europe in Stuttgart (Hall 5, Booth B26). True to their motto, "We don't just build components or machines – we connect the dots across the entire process," STIWA Automation and STIWA Manufacturing will demonstrate their comprehensive offerings, from innovative battery cell components to highly automated production solutions, all from a single source. The focus is on mastering the entire process to ensure cost efficiency and technological excellence in battery production.

For the third time, the STIWA Group – comprising STIWA Automation and STIWA Manufacturing – will be exhibiting at The Battery Show Europe. Each year, we expand our scope, capabilities, and ambitions to meet the growing demands of the battery market.

As an industry pioneer, STIWA currently produces millions of battery components. We are the first European company to receive series production certification for prismatic battery cell cap assembly, with an annual production capacity of over 30 million parts.

This year, we are focusing more on battery cell housings and enclosures for prismatic and cylindrical shapes, as well as on automating cell assembly – from pilot lines to gigafactory scale.

Another highlight of The Battery Show Europe 2026 will be the presentation by DI BSc. Matthias Bibl, project manager at STIWA Automation GmbH. On June 10 at 11:10 a.m. in the Battery Tech Theatre (3-D60), he will give a talk titled "Scaleable High Speed Electrolyte Filling for Prismatic Li-Ion Cells”. Bibl will examine in detail the economic and environmental benefits of this innovative electrolyte filling concept.
