Top award: Volkswagen Group Award 2020 for STIWA

Volkswagen group has awarded STIWA Advanced Products GmbH with the Volkswagen Group Award 2020 in the category “Value Innovation”. With this award, Volkswagen group honors special achievements of their international TOP suppliers.

 

Gampern, 24th of July 2020 - as the biggest automobile manufacturer in the world, Volkswagen Group works with a network of more than 40,000 suppliers worldwide. Only eight of these companies are awarded with the “Volkswagen Group Award 2020”. In the category “Value Innovation” STIWA Advanced Products was able to convince. In an announcement Volkswagen especially acknowledges the high development competence and innovative strength of the company: “STIWA is an essential part of the worldwide production network within the Group”, says Frank Witter, Chief Financial Officer of the company and provisional board for purchasing.

 

Great appreciation

“Innovation and development are important factors of success for us. This is why we are pleased that Volkswagen now highlights their appreciation for our provided services with the Group Award. The award is also a big thank you towards our employees, that implement the innovation and quality concept in their work every day”, says Josef Brandmayr, Managing Director of STIWA Advanced Products GmbH. For Brandmayr this award is also a conformation for the initiated strategy change last autumn in STIWA Advanced Products: “We now implement our know-how of product development, industrialization and serial production in the automotive industry as well as in other sectors now stronger with our own innovative products and technologies.”

 

Peter Sticht, Managing Director STIWA Group emphasizes the importance of the Volkswagen Group Award for the entire company group: “Volkswagen has been an important customer for our production sectors since many years. With the construction of a steering gear assembly system for Volkswagen plant Braunschweig via the business field automation, we were able to set another milestone this year. We see this award as an important signal for a continued close cooperation with Volkswagen.”
