A high tech apprenticeship at STIWA is demanded: Today 36 adolescents star their apprenticeship at STIWA, with that over 200 apprentices at STIWA are being trained in one of 10 professional trainings.
What special significance apprenticeship has at STIWA appears at first glance. As one of the biggest industry trainers in all of Austria, more than 200 apprentices are in training as of today. In total, STIWA Group has trained more than 1000 apprentices to top qualified employees in the last 40 years.
STIWA invests 300,000 euros into training center this year.
“I’m very pleased to welcome 36 adolescents in our company today.” says STIWA training supervisor Thomas Bartl. An exciting apprenticeship awaits them: As internationally leading company in the fields automation, production, as well as software, STIWA trains their apprentices according to the highest standards. “Equipped with state-of-the-art modern training machines, all apprentices receive a high tech training witch the best career chances in the in-house training center Attnang-Puchheim.

Automation technology is a field of the future, for which we need top trained professionals. We are proud of our apprentices and their achievements. After their apprenticeship all doors are open for them in the company” says Bartl, who reminds that almost half of the managers at STIWA have started their career with a apprenticeship. Even today, more than half of the apprentices that have ever been trained in the company work at STIWA.
STIWA apprentices deliver top performances
For STIWA the dual education is an important column for future growth, innovation and progress. A career with apprenticeship is no keyword at STIWA, but lived reality - nationally and internationally. In this context, especially the outstanding achievements of STIWA apprentices have to be highlighted: At the apprenticeship award 2021, STIWA apprentices achieve first place in the fields construction as well as electrical engineering.
10 apprenticeships are available for choice
STIWA currently offers apprenticeships in 10 professions - from mechatronic technician and designer to application developer. “We additionally provide “Dual Academy” in the field application development-coding for graduates this year for the first time”, informs Bartl.
