In this role, you won't be stuck behind a bench all day. You will be the technical architect of our systems, taking ownership of the end-to-end assembly, installation, and optimization of world-class automation. From the precision of our in-house facility to the excitement of international field-based service, your expertise will ensure our global customers stay ahead of the curve. Your tasks
- Assemble complex mechanical components according to technical specifications and oversee the initial start-up of new machinery
- Masterfully read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics to ensure flawless functionality while utilizing hand and power tools with a "safety-first" mindset
- Serve as the face of STIWA during global assignments, traveling internationally to handle advanced diagnostics, critical system recovery, proactive maintenance, and repairs
- Execute type integrations and performance tweaks to keep existing machines running at peak efficiency while maintaining a direct line of communication with the US MA PV and your Team Lead
Your profile
- You have a deep background in mechanical assembly and a natural intuition for how parts fit and function together, with 1–2 years of preferred experience
- You can look at schematics to see the "big picture" of machine movement and possess the poise to solve complex problems under pressure at international customer sites
- You are an expert with hand and power tools, never compromise on workshop safety, and are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High School Diploma is required; a degree or certification in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering Technology is a major advantage
