Big successes for STIWA apprentices at the apprenticeship award 2021

In construction and electrical engineering STIWA apprentices could not be beat

In construction and electrical engineering STIWA apprentices could not be beat: Among 737 adolescents from 97 companies, the apprentices from STIWA group have won in the sectors construction and electrical engineering at the apprentice award 2021 of The Austrian Federal Economic Chamber. A 2. place additionally went to the young STIWA colleague Nora Frankowicz, in the special category woman in technology. Yesterday the honour of the winners took place.

 

40 apprentices of STIWA Group confronted the competition of The Austrian Federal Economic Chamber on the 17th of April 2021 - six of them were able to take the desired awards home with them. The award ceremony took place yesterday in the Sandburg in Linz. With Felix Gabor and Tobias Stockinger, two apprentices in the category construction of STIWA Group won the 1. and 2. place. In the category electrical engineering, with the places 1., 2. And 3. for The excellent record was eventually completed by Nora Frankowicz with the 2. place in the special category woman in technology.

 

“The apprentice training has a very high priority for us. I’m very proud of our apprentices and congratulate them on their amazing achievements in the apprenticeship award this year. The dual education is an important column for future growth, innovation and progress. A career with apprenticeship is no keyword at STIWA, but lived reality - nationally and internationally” says STIWA Holding-Managing Director Peter Sticht.

 

The outstanding performance of STIWA apprentices is also highlighted by STIWA training supervisor Thomas Bartl: “We congratulate our apprentices sincerely on their exceptional performances at the apprenticeship award this year. But credits are due to the instructors as well, that have been the forerunners for these successes thanks to their commitment. Thus we simultaneously celebrate these prizes as a big team effort.”

Apprenticeship at STIWA - application deadline extended

Currently more than 200 adolescents in 9 apprenticeships are in training at STIWA - from mechatronics to application development-coding, construction and management assistant. In total more than 1,000 adolescents have begun their apprenticeship at STIWA since 1979. And with the best career possibilities: For almost half of the managers at STIWA, apprenticeship was the reason for their subsequent career path. The application deadline for the next year in autumn was extended to the end of June 2021.
