The STIWA Group offered exciting insights into the high-tech world of automation to more than 400 HTL students at the "HTL Days at STIWA" on 15th and 16th September at the company headquarters in Attnang-Puchheim.

"HTLs are one of the most important educational partners for us. They train the specialists we need in mechanical engineering, production and software development. We are very pleased that eight schools from three federal states have accepted our invitation," Michael Fuchshuber, CEO of STIWA Automation GmbH says.

During a tour through the factory, STIWA employees – even HTL graduates – offered practice-oriented insights into the company's technical departments. Core competencies such as feeding technology, laser technology and process development as well as the latest developments in the areas of simulation and 3D printing were the focus. The young people took the opportunity to ask questions in order to get a clearer idea of the future job profiles – after all, it was the first excursion for some classes after almost three years of corona-related break.

"At STIWA, it is very important to us to teach students and teachers the technology of tomorrow first hand and thus further strengthen the connection between school and industry. The HTL Days were the ideal opportunity for this," says Fuchshuber.
