This year, the auditing and consulting organization EY presented the 17th EY “Entrepreneur Of The Year 2022” TM Award in Austria. In the category "Innovation & Hightech" STIWA Holding GmbH CEO Peter Sticht was awarded. "Peter Sticht primarily promotes innovative thinking among his employees in order to be successful in the long term," the jury said.

The EY “Entrepreneur Of The Year” is one of the world's most prestigious awards for entrepreneurs. For more than 30 years, EY has honored selected entrepreneurs in 60 countries for special achievements. Growth, future potential, innovation, employee management and social responsibility are among the judging criteria used by the expert jury. Peter Sticht received the award in the category "Innovation & High Tech" on Friday, October 14, 2022 in the Vienna Hofburg. He was chosen by a top-class jury from among several nominees as "Entrepreneur Of The Year 2022".

Important milestones in the history of the STIWA Group

In addition to the development of high-tech automation solutions, the company's major milestones include the establishment of its own production site in Gampern and a software site in Hagenberg. In addition, internationalization has been pushed forward massively in recent years, with locations in China, the USA and Germany. The clear positioning of the portfolio in the business areas of automation, manufacturing and software has brought disproportionate growth opportunities in recent years.

 

Continuous development in the 50th anniversary

In the anniversary year 2022, the STIWA Group is also working intensively on its further development: The software division was combined into an independent company, and a new location in Vienna was opened this year. A new production hall for successful machining is currently being built at the Gampern site. And they also want to expand their capacities internationally: In the USA, for example, a suitable property is currently being searched for in order to build its own office and production building there next year. In addition to automation, the machining division is to be set up there next year.
