On October 16th and 17th, the STIWA Group offered over 400 students at its Open Training Workshop Day in Attnang-Puchheim profound insights into its diverse technical apprenticeship programs. The aim was to inform about future-oriented career opportunities and to attract potential young talents.
The STIWA Group looks back on this year's Open Training Workshop Day, which took place on October 16th and 17th in Attnang-Puchheim. Over 400 interested students took the opportunity to learn about the various apprenticeship programs at STIWA and to gain practical insights.
Authentic Perspectives and Comprehensive Information
At the heart of the event were our current STIWA apprentices, who showed the young visitors around the apprenticeship workshops. They provided personal insights into their daily training routines and the career prospects available to them within the STIWA Group.
At various information stations, trainers and technical experts presented the individual apprenticeship programs – from mechatronics and cutting technology to information technology. Here, young people could receive detailed explanations about the training content and the requirements in these future-oriented fields. The focus was on communicating the high quality of training and the development opportunities an apprenticeship at STIWA offers.
Long-term Skilled Worker Recruitment and Training Prospects
The Open Training Workshop Day is an important part of the STIWA Group's commitment to securing skilled workers in the region. "We aim to provide young people with a solid foundation for their professional future and attract them to technical professions that are highly in demand in our industry," explains Bartl Thomas, Head of Training Center. "Despite current economic challenges, the high-quality training of young talents remains one of our priorities."
